Founded in 2001 by Ursula Bussey, Premiere Care is a family run home care business based in Leyburn, North Yorkshire.  We provide quality, focused care within your home environment either by introducing live-in self-employed carers, primarily across Yorkshire, or by offering hourly self-employed carers to people living within 15 miles of Leyburn.

To summarise, Premiere Care offers you excellent home care at a very reasonable price wherever you live.

Our experienced team of Care Coordinators will help to match you with a fully trained carer, who has the skills and experience you need for your care and whose personality fits into your life while respecting your space and dignity at all times. Our services comply with all Care Quality Commission requirements and we are audited by them, most recently in November 2019.  Each of our carers is self-employed and before joining our agency they are thoroughly vetted and we ensure they have the necessary training and experience for the role.

We utilise cutting edge online technology, that allows us to monitor your care in real time, enabling us to swiftly act to support  you and your care team whenever the need arises.

All of the management team are experienced risk assessors and will plan ahead, for example we ensured large supplies of protective equipment were purchased pre pandemic in February 2020. Since then, none of our carers or clients have caught the coronavirus.

During 2020 we have made numerous improvements across our services including:

– Fast response online monitoring of carers’ activities around your home

– Easily updatable care plans that ensure your care is current and appropriate to your needs

– Carer scheduling accessible via smart phone, enabling your carer to know when they are scheduled to visit you up to two weeks in advance
